The beginnig
After his stay in Australia, Moitz moved to Berlin in 2014 to pursue his fascination with film. Starting in the technical departments such as camera, lighting, sound and grip, he quickly learned how to handle the equipment and the processes on set. With this knowledge he changed to the set production management and brought this in a target-oriented way. His main task was the coordination on the set as well as a smooth flow behind the scenes.
From no-budget films to elaborate television and studio productions, he was able to use his communication skills and deepen his expertise. He also accompanied several projects as assistant director and implemented some projects as director and creative producer.

Deeper Look
In 2017/18, Moitz began studying digital media culture at the Film University Babelsberg KONRAD WOLF for a well-founded and in-depth look at film. In addition to the disciplines of cross-media story development, dramaturgy, and media psychology he dealt with interactive film and its effects. In addition to theoretical work, he produced research papers to explore the potential of interactive media. The focus of the work was often to increase the impact of documentary works. Therefore, he completed an impact research on the entertainment experience of interactive documentaries. Building on these findings, Moitz is working with Prof. Dr. Daniela Schlütz, Vice President for Research and Transfer at Filmuniversität Babelsberg KONRAD WOLF, to continue this research.
Deeper Look
Despite his interest in film and media, Moitz also searches for different forms of representation through other methods and materials. In this regard, his stay in Italy, where he studied design and Italian film history, contributed significantly to his creative development. In addition to photography, music and illustration, he made theater and ceramic art his own. Most of his works deal with political grievances or human feelings.
